Our 4th graders love to open their Student Survival Kits when they first arrive in the classroom. They are easy to construct and you can add your own items or use the ones listed above. Use a brown paper lunch bag and add the goodies. I printed the contents (2 to a page) and glued it to the bag. Fold over the top nd punch 2 holes and thread a ribbon and top off with a bow. The gold coins are part of a very successful behavior management program. You can read about the Pirate Booty Behavior Management plan by going to my class website:

Enjoy!
